Kiss es el album debut de la banda de glam rock amaricana del mismo nombre: KISS. Cuando fue lanzado, kiss apenas llevaba un año de existencia. La mayoria del material en el album era escrito por Gene Simons( bajo) y Paul Stanley(voz - guitarra) como miembros de wicked lester la primera encarnacion de KISS. vendió aproximadamente 75.000 copias después de su salida inicial al mercado, sin la presencia de un solo 'hit'.

Sin embargo, despues de gastarse la mitad de la suma en alcohol y drogas, la banda tuvo que despedir al productor y hacerlo ellos mismos. Es asi como nace el album debut de la banda megadeth, killing is my bussines....and bussines is good.
